It was in the heart of the Okanagan that Becca Mabbett found opportunity to grow as an artist and musician, developing into the performer she is today. Starting her music career at an early age she released her first studio album at 15, “Worldly Daze”. With one of her songs from that album ranking in the top 10 of the International Songwriter Competition it was evident she had a gift. After pursuing further education and completing her music degree she returned to the studio to release a second album, “Just A Girl”.
Over the last 5 years she has shared her music across Canada, including venues like the Calgary Stampede. Her music has an acoustic-pop feel with a touch of jazz and a little folk, but you can expect a little bit of everything when you see her live. Recently, she has been collaborating with local musician Aaron Gordon. With his rock background and her soaring vocals, they are a force to be reckoned with. Becca currently lives in Kelowna, BC and is the music pastor at Mission Creek Alliance Church.
This quartet of seasoned musicians from Kelowna has paid its dues in numerous musical projects over the years, performing at festivals, wineries, halls, weddings and pubs throughout British Columbia and Canada.
Combining passionate three part vocal harmonies, articulate guitar passages, a strong back beat, and the vintage resonance of the stand-up bass, Black Cat Soul is ready to deliver their blend of smooth blues, roots, and soul to stages everywhere.

Based out of BC's Okanagan Valley since 2009, this Celtic inspired band is focused on giving traditional music a modern edge. Known for their charismatic energy, amazing vocal harmonies and their superior lights and sound production, the band delivers an entertaining show that keeps people coming back for more.
Cod Gone Wild's success is undoubtedly due to their ability to harness their individual talents into a collaborative vision resulting in unparalleled chemistry both on and off the stage, a formula that has earned them flawless reviews, a mounting fan base and regular airplay across the country and on-line all over the world.
Andrew Mercer on lead vocals, guitar, mandolin and Bohdran, Susan Aylard on fiddle and vocals, David Mihal on drums and percussion, Sean Bray on guitar, mandolin and vocals, and Martyn Jones on bass and vocals, all outstanding musical artists on their own merit, provide Cod Gone Wild with an upbeat, blended Celtic style of music and lyrics to entertain young and old alike.

James was featured on CMT Canada’s, Big in a Small Town, as one of thirty artists selected across Canada to participate. "They emailed me and asked me to audition," said James from his Kelowna home. "They picked 30 artists from across Canada, two of them from BC. It was a really cool experience. All the staff and crew treated us like gold. It gave my album, Heart of the Matter, great exposure."
James, who won a song writing competition in 2002 sponsored by Factor, CMT, and Country radio across the nation, released the EP Near You with the title track making it to the top ten in CBC’s Searchlight contest last summer.
James has performed everywhere from large concerts to store openings. Whether a solo, duo or trio appearance, James tailors his show and set to accommodate!
James is an accomplished singer/songwriter who describes his style as urban country, easy listening, with a touch of the blues. His debut album, Heart of the Matter, continues to get airplay across Canada and overseas.
When James isn't performing, he spends his time as a volunteer for hospice and doing shows at the cancer lodge. He wrote a song for Soles4Souls, later known as Shoe Bank Canada, an organization that gets shoes to people that need them in Canada and around the world.

Yamabiko Taiko was founded in the spring of 2003 in Kelowna, BC, Canada. The group was begun with very humble and simple desires: to enjoy and play Japanese Taiko-style drumming and be lost in its power and grace.
With only a few members, practices began that summer using duct-taped tires and sawn-up broomstick handles. Since then, the group has purchased professionally-made performance drums, and has evolved into a regularly performing group.
Today, Yamabiko’s main purpose is to share the beauty and spirit of taiko, and to promote cultural awareness within our community. Practices are held in the basement of Kelowna Buddhist Temple twice weekly, and performances are listed at www.yamabikotaiko.ca.
Children Classes are also held from September. Please check Kelowna-taiko.com for more details.
